    Website offered free freight for spend amount. They called and said I could collect. I said I wanted delivery and then they charged me twice the std website freight. They blamed the system and said there was nothing they could do. But I can. Won't be back and won't be taken for a fool.

    Hi Craig, we’re sorry for the frustration. To be clear, we have never advertised free freight. PayPal recently changed the appearance of its express checkout, making the shipping options easier to overlook. Free *in-store pickup* was selected automatically, although a paid delivery option was also available for you to choose. When you contacted us and requested delivery, we charged $15. After re-reviewing the order, we can see this was roughly twice the freight amount quoted through the website. We should have corrected that rather than telling you nothing could be done. We have refunded the difference between the charged and the website quoted freight amount. We’re also reviewing the checkout process with PayPal to attempt to make the delivery options clearer.

    OK they get 5 stars for the fabulous products but -3 stars for customer service. I placed an order but some items were apparently not in stock. Didn't bother to let me know my order would be delayed. I had to chase it up when it hadn't arrived and only then found out they had been waiting for stock. I replied my disappointment but received no response.

    The Garden Superstore only sells wildlife safe netting (mesh size 5mm x 5mm or less) for "backyard" or non-commercial growers. Slightly larger netting is available to commercial growers (those w and ABN) need `to scale` netting tightly stretched across big orchards. Thanks to GS for being an environmentally responsible commercial entity and caring about native wildlife. Safe netting prevents entanglement and death of key pollinators like flying foxes and birds like owls and lorikeets. :)
