Why It Is Perfect For Your Home
- Low risk around family and pets: chlorantraniliprole targets muscle receptors that lawn pests have and mammals do not. It is exempt from poison scheduling, needs no PPE and has no re-entry period. Once the granules are watered in and the lawn has dried, children and pets are back on it.
- No spray, no mess: spread the granules with a standard fertiliser spreader. No chemical smells and no staining.
- Stop the turkeys: by removing the grubs, you remove the reason brush turkeys scratch up and destroy your yard.
- Healthy soil: very low toxicity to bees, with no known adverse effects on earthworms or beneficial insects when used as directed.
Which Size Do I Need?
- 4kg bucket: treats up to 260 square metres. Perfect for standard backyards.
- 10kg bag: treats up to 660 square metres. Ideal for larger lawns and acreage.
Easy DIY Application
- Timing: for best results, apply in mid-September to catch grubs before they cause visible damage. Later outbreaks from mid-December onwards can still be treated curatively at the same rate.
- Application: apply evenly at 1.5kg per 100 square metres using a handheld or push spreader. This is the rate that delivers the full 6 months. Lower rates are on the label but give shorter protection.
- Watering in, lawn grubs: for beetle larvae such as African Black Beetle, water the granules in with at least 3mm of water immediately after spreading to move the active down to the root zone.
- Watering in, armyworm: for Lawn Armyworm and other surface-feeding caterpillars, do the opposite. Delay watering and mowing for 24 hours so the granules stay on the leaf surface, then water them in.
