Growrite Heavyweight Jute Matting – 1.8m x 25m
- 100% biodegradable organic product made from Jute Fibre
- Secured to the ground using our Growrite "U" shaped wire hold down pins (use approx 1 pin per 1m2 of jute matt)
- Naturally absorbs water aiding plant growth
- Heavyweight – approx. 700GSM
Available in two options
- 1.8m x 25m, without pre-cut slits
- or 1.8m x 25m with approx. 6 pre-cut slits per m2 to assist with planting out on revegetation projects
Growrite Heavyweight Jute Mat is an organic geotextile that forms a mulch that suppresses weed growth, helps prevent erosion, and increases moisture retention in the soil to aid in the establishment of long-term vegetation.

Easy mulching solution
Great! Its a huge roll but not too heavy to manoeuvre. Covered a lot of area very quickly. Yet to see hoe it suppresses weeds but am hopeful.
